Christopher Lydiard-Wilson founded EnergyQuote in 1992 at the start of de-regulation of the UK utilities sector. He had previously worked in the derivatives markets and commodity trading for eight years. Christopher spearheaded the development of EnergyQuote which became the world’s first utility e-procurement system to trade online in 1995; offering companies an alternative to traditional lengthy methods of procurement. The company was subsequently rebranded to the name of this core product and, under Christopher’s leadership, developed into one of Europe’s leading energy consultancies, incorporating the acquisition of John Hall Associates Limited in August 2009.
